You’ve gotta love the Sunshine Coast…it really is paradise on earth. And I don’t just mean the breathtaking postcard perfect views from the Hinterlands or the miles of sandy shores and ‘jewelled’ seas, there is also a sense of community magic which is refreshing.

Although I should fess up…...I’m  somewhat of a hermit at times…..I have a great relationship with my computer (lol) and often forget that paradise awaits me just by walking out the front door.

So this month, I thought I’d set the intent to really get out and about (yes even though it’s winter) and find some quirky nooks on the coast.  In fact, I threw myself in the deep end and went to my first Zumba class….which could be my new haunt!!!

Then off for a quick pit stop at one of the many fabulously accommodating tea houses on the coast. I finally discovered L.S.D (the legal version) which is a Dandelion Latte on Soy milk…mmm yum!  I don’t think anybody recognised me with my glasses and windswept, ‘just on deadline’ fashion sense, so I could keep a low profile and sip my latte in peace, reflect and breathe!

Then I decided to surround myself with people and connect-I went to some networking evenings and a few lush markets and also attended an International Herbal Conference. Holy folk, there are so many talented and interesting people in every direction.

So while I return to my computer and log on to the Facebook community, I’m also mindful of what I have just a few streets away and I can’t help but feel  that  there is so much still to explore,  much to tell and many more interesting characters to meet.
