JULY 2010 - Editorial

Yes, Holistic Bliss is your magazine with soul! So this month we thought we’d explore ‘soul’ and its many different meanings.

In the case of Mr Ian Moss- soul is naturally associated with a style of music which is enjoyable to listen to but it’s also music from the heart and music which moves us.

Then there are times when you hear people say (me included) various things are, “Good for the soul” such as laughter, dancing or the odd chocolaty treat (or all three together)……this isn’t anything particularly deep and profound… but sometimes it’s nice to appreciate those little things and moments in life.

Then of course there are the deeper aspects of soul, which will be covered this month by a number of our regular contributors.

While the journey of soul is a very personal one, it doesn’t have to be ‘out there’ and complex, it may be as practical as being open to looking at ourselves honestly and learning to speak our truth in every moment. As we peel back the layers to find the voice of truth and inspiration inside ourselves, life can become a process of discovery and with this may come a sense of really feeling alive!!!
