Spring is a fantastic time for growth, expansion and upliftment. The sun is out, the flowers are blooming, bees are buzzing and new shoots and buds spring forth with the fresh promise of ‘newness’; new activity, new creations and new beginnings.
And so it is a perfect time within us to really shift up the emotional scale to those expansive, expressive, joyful, blissful powerful, radiating emotional energies. In fact this is our true nature yet you have to allow yourself to shift within to that uplifting vibration, in which you can fully perceive, attract and create more blissful experiences that reflect that. And you can do that consciously rather than just stumble across that occasionally, or by chance(or just at this time of the year!).
So how do you consciously shift your emotions?
Notice where you are on the emotional scale at the present moment. Are you at the bottom (powerlessness, fear, despair), or a little further up at anger, blame, disappointment or frustration? Are you in the positive range of emotions such as contentment, or even further up the scale at optimism, enthusiasm and passion? Or are you right at the top with joy/ empowerment, love and freedom?
Wherever you are, set your intention towards feeling the emotion that is higher up from where you are. Ask yourself what is a better ‘feeling- thought’ that you can have right now either about the dominant subject in your life or just switch over to the best ‘feeling-thought’ you can have about anything in your life.
For example, if you are feeling doubt about something in your life and you’d like to move up a few notches to contentment ask yourself: ‘What am I content about right now?’ Feel your answer, luxuriate in it. Let yourself feel the contentment that life brings you through a particular aspect of your experiences.
Once you’re fruitfully feeling contentment and radiating it out, let’s go for the gold at the top. What can you feel joy and bliss about right now?
Ask, let it go and let the answer flow in. Let it soak through every cell, let it infiltrate every breath, let the joy and bliss live here now within you.
